Fighting on mats in the South European sunshine. This important match marked the debut of two new stars of the mat - busty German beauty Gaia with her distinctive braided hair and aggressive wrestling technique, and the tall and slender Nike who has the sinuous body of a ballet dancer. This turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole tournament, with tempers running high very quickly. Before long we had submissions being shared each way, screams of pain and anger, moans of frustration and a dazzling array of holds for two girls making their debut. So angry with each other did these girls become that the match almost had to be stopped at one point. Thankfully, it wasn't and these two amazing young women fight to a brutal and conclusive finish. To give you an idea how intense this match was, we can tell you that one of the girls burst into tears at the end - and she was the one that won! Imagine how the loser felt. |
In retaliation, Artemis took her adversary down, pinning her face down in the sand and torturing her by bending her arms around her neck. Incredibly, there was more - much more - to come, as these two girls fought hard to the end. When two beautiful girls fight with this intensity and in this unique setting, there is something special in the light and the symmetry of their struggle, not to mention the emotion as they try to prove themselves the supreme amazon.
There's the joy and relief of the winner, and the pain and humiliation for the loser. Abandoning themselves to the passion of their fight, Artemis and Iris looked awesome as they rolled, grappled and pinned one another in the golden sand. If only it could have continued all day! This is a competitive and gruelling fight between two beautiful and fit young women that you'll want to watch again and again.

Statuesque blonde Isabella seems utterly amazed by Gaia as they fight topless with the aggression of enraged tigers on the grass outdoors. There are submissions, plenty of them, but what really makes this match distinctive are the roars of pain and growls of determination from Gaia. Both girls end up shellshocked, bruised and amazed by the other. The audience can't quite believe the anger and intensity of what it has witnessed - and neither will you. Enjoy this preview!

on one piece of mat. Leaving their tops behind, these two locked up
and fought bare chested wearing nothing but thongs. As if the sight
of their perfectly formed bodies and thrashing blonde hair was not enough
to satisfy the viewer, the wrestling on offer most certainly was.

With endless miles of inviting blue ocean at our disposal, the opportunity to match girls up in the water proved too tempting to resist. Nadine and Kahti both know how to catfight, but in the ocean the odds were truly evened out and the girls were soon tearing into each other like cats - and you know how much cats hate the water. This was vicious stuff - full of slapping, hair pulling and pushing heads under the water.
Although this fight took place in an unusual setting, the girls' fighting instincts were as sharp as ever. Both love to defeat other women and both sure as hell did not want to be humiliated by the other. The splashing water made this fight tiring work, but if anything it just made them angrier and more determined to succeed. By the end, both of these young women had exchanged submissions by dunking each other underwater in a variety of holds. Both wound up exhausted and gasping for air - proof of their commitment.

A Weekend with the Goddesses' of Wrestling -
Comments from Ian from Australia After the best part of 40 years as a fan of female submission wrestling, I finally got to attend my first ever live event at the Goddesses' of Wrestling tournament organized by Fightingstyle in Marathon, Greece on 7th to 9th October. Was it worth it you ask? Well consider this: A great venue, superb company, beautiful, fit, friendly girls, aggressive wrestling, and all backed up by good food and cold beer. Was it worth it? - well you be the judge. Were there any negatives you ask? Sure. There were two; firstly that business commitments forced me to leave on the Sunday morning and miss the last day, and, secondly, the mosquitos - yes they must be the biggest and most aggressive mosquitos in the world. Would you attend again you ask? I have been wondering for years if the difference between watching a live event and watching a video justified traveling half way around the world. Now I know the answer - FightingStyle, book me in for the next one. Are congratulations in order you ask? Of course the organizers deserve praise, but the praise they deserve almost fades into insignificance compared to the praise the girls deserve for the efforts they put in. Surely only they can know, and the rest of us can but wonder, how much effort, stamina, determination and commitment it takes to wrestle 8 or 9 hard matches over a mere three days. Girls, congratulations to all of you, you were the undoubted stars of the weekend. Your Aussie fan for ever. |
